We encourage interested candidates to apply, learn more about what we are building, and stay connected as we develop our facility.\nPhoenix Tailings is looking for experienced operating leaders interested in future Shift Supervisor opportunities at our Rochester Freedom Facility.\nShift Supervisors will lead safe and orderly execution of the shift while maintaining visibility across the plant. They will inspect work, verify permits, monitor fatigue and operating hazards, and coordinate the crew.\nThis is an opportunity to help establish the working habits of a new operating team, with the judgment to stop unsafe work and keep the crew focused on safe execution.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCoordinate shift staffing, work assignments, and operating priorities while maintaining visibility across the plant and the condition of the crew\nInspect plant work and verify permits, operating procedures, and required safeguards before and during permit-controlled activities\nMonitor fatigue, chemical hazards, and changing operating conditions, stopping unsafe work and coordinating the actions needed to resume safely\nReview shift performance and process deviations with operators, engineering, and maintenance, keeping technical process changes under appropriate engineering direction\nLead shift handoffs and operator coaching, maintaining accurate records of production conditions, incidents, unresolved problems, and required follow-up\nQualifications:\nExperience leading operators or supervising work in chemical manufacturing, refining, metals, water treatment, or another continuous-process industrial environment\nWorking knowledge of process equipment, chemical handling, operating procedures, and permit-controlled work, supported by relevant technical training or hands-on experience\nDemonstrated ability to coordinate crews, recognize fatigue and operating hazards, coach safe work practices, and stop work when conditions require it\nAbility to interpret production and downtime information, document shift events, and coordinate practical responses with engineering and maintenance teams\nWhat We Offer:\nThis pay range reflects best estimate for the total cash compensation which includes salary +\ndiscretionary bonus for this role.
