The employee will normally be in this position for 6-24 months and will be promoted to Target Towing Technician when evaluated to have gained the requisite knowledge and training.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerforms repairs, modifications, and installations on company owned Tow Reels and Targets.\nAble to deploy and operate equipment in company aircraft in support of flight operations and testing.\nAble to perform work on Tow Reels and Targets.\nInstall Tow Reels on aircraft and operate the same on various mission profiles.\nMaintain a good working relationship with customers and government.\nSKILLS, COMPETENCIES, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS\nAbility to obtain secret security clearance.\nRequired to obtain and maintain a valid US passport.\nSome experience or mechanical and electrical knowledge.\nAircraft familiarity experience useful.\nDeployment will be required internationally and, in the US, usually not to exceed 30 days.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nTalk and/or hear regularly throughout the day.\nSitting is required as needed.\nStanding and walking on occasion.\nClimb or balance; bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.\nUse fingers and hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms to perform work duties as needed.\nLift and/or move up to 55 pounds frequently and at times in small, confined spaces.\nVision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus throughout the day.\nMust be able to pass drug and background screen.
