The Senior Technical Account Managers will play a key role by acting as a dedicated point of contact for all technical and product related discussions post go live for all the Key accounts . We see technical experience as a vital component of the overall merchant journey. When we excel in our role, merchants can effortlessly accept payments from their end customers and expand their businesses on PhonePe.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic business insight, and analytical skills to understand merchant problems and deliver the solutions that meet client requirements, comply with regulatory standards, and align with the organization’s objectives.
Responsibilities:
Build healthy relationships with merchant's tech contacts, help them unblock challenges.
Understand merchant queries, analyse them and do hands-on troubleshooting to ensure merchant's day-to-day technical challenges are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
Gain good understanding of the PhonePe product stack and become SME for assigned product
Help Identify product & technical gaps and suggest improvements
Report Issues or bugs to Product /Software engineering teams and work towards a resolution with collaboration.
Advocate and drive Merchant behavior as well as identify new opportunities where PhonePe products and technologies can better fit the merchant's business.
Act as Subject matter expert and drive all best practices with the merchant, document all tech related info, gather feedback and requested enhancements and develop detailed business requirements and represent the client in product prioritisation cycles.
Work very closely with Sales, Product and Engineering teams on a day to day basis.
5+ years of experience in client-facing Technical support/ Technical account management roles.
Proficient in Rest APIs using JSON or SOAP UI/Postman tools.
Hands-on experience with query writing.
Strong troubleshooting skills for technical issues in web and mobile applications.
Basic knowledge of programming languages (Python, PHP, Java), and platforms (Web, Android, iOS) will be a plus.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and databases.
Excellent in written and verbal communication and good in presentation skills.
Excellent multitasking and project management skills.
Experience in the payments industry is a plus.
Strong technical, analytical, and presentation skills.
