Would you like to help build a new SaaS product from the ground up?\nWe’re looking for a BI Engineer to join the Phonexia Voice Guardian team. Voice Guardian is our new cloud-based platform for voice biometrics and fraud prevention in bank contact centers.\nYour Role\nAs a BI Engineer, you will be responsible for:\nDesigning, building, and managing the data solution for the Voice Guardian platform,\ncollecting and processing product, billing, and performance data,\npreparing data for reporting and visualization, including dashboards for Product, Engineering, and Sales,\nintegrating and exporting data to customers’ and partners’ systems,\nensuring data quality, consistency, and auditability, especially for billing,\ngradually expanding the data solution to connect Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance.\nSkills You Will Need\nTo excel in this role, you should be proficient in:\nExperience designing data solutions, including dimensional modeling (Kimball, star/snowflake schema) or Data Vault. You understand when different approaches make sense\nStrong knowledge of databases, including relational and document databases and their trade-offs.\nExperience with data tools and orchestration, such as dbt, Airflow, Dagster, or similar.\nPython skills for data processing, automation, and integrations.\nExperience with cloud data services. We use AWS, so experience with S3, Athena, Glue, Redshift, or Aurora is a plus. Experience with another cloud platform is also welcome.\nA strong focus on data quality and accuracy — especially when it comes to billing, where every cent matters.\nGood English communication skills, including the ability to write documentation and communicate with international colleagues and customers.\nNice to have:\nExperience with streaming data and Kafka,\nexperience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines,\nknowledge of BI and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Superset, or QuickSight,\nexperience with lakehouse technologies and data formats, such as Parquet, Iceberg, or Delta Lake,\nexperience with data observability or usage-based billing in SaaS,\nexperience integrating CRM, marketing, or financial data,\nunderstanding of data privacy and security, including GDPR and multi-tenant environments.\nWhat Makes This Role Unique?\nYou won’t be maintaining legacy reports.
