This role focuses on ensuring high-quality delivery of cloud-native microservices, API orchestration platforms, identity systems, and loyalty-driven customer journeys.\nThe QA Engineer will work closely with product owners, business analysts, developers, DevOps, and architects to design, execute, and automate comprehensive testing strategies across backend services, APIs, integration hubs, and mobile/web platforms.\nStrong experience in e-commerce, loyalty platforms (Paytronix preferred), API testing, event-driven systems, and cloud-native architectures is highly desirable.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for backend services, APIs, integration workflows, and event-driven systems. \nValidate end-to-end e-commerce, loyalty, identity, and checkout journeys, ensuring seamless customer experience. \nPerform functional, integration, regression, performance, and UAT testing across distributed microservices ecosystems. \nDevelop and maintain API automation frameworks for validating orchestration flows, authentication, caching, and proxy services. \nValidate event-driven and asynchronous workflows, including pub-sub messaging, retry mechanisms, and graceful degradation scenarios. \nConduct data validation testing for loyalty profiles, transactions, rewards, identity flows, and system migrations. \nExecute cloud-native testing strategies, including testing of stateless services, caching layers, and traffic routing mechanisms. \nCollaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipeline-based test automation and continuous testing practices. \nDesign and execute performance, resiliency, and failover test scenarios for highly available systems. \nTrack, triage, and manage defects using industry-standard tools, ensuring timely resolution and production readiness. \nActively participate in sprint ceremonies, backlog refinement, test planning, and release validation activities. \nCreate and maintain test documentation, test reports, dashboards, and quality metrics. \nContinuously improve QA processes, automation coverage, and testing efficiency. \nPreferred Qualifications:\n6-8 years of experience in software quality engineering, with strong focus on backend, API, and integration testing. \nHands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Karate, or similar frameworks. \nStrong experience in test automation using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent tools. \nExperience testing event-driven architectures, asynchronous workflows, and distributed systems. \nSolid understanding of microservices, API gateways, caching layers, authentication systems, and cloud-native architectures. \nExperience working with e-commerce platforms, loyalty systems (Paytronix preferred), or customer engagement ecosystems. \nStrong experience in CI/CD integration and continuous testing pipelines. \nGood working knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms. \nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. \nExperience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments. \nNice to Have:\nExperience in performance and load testing using JMeter, Gatling, or similar tools. \nExposure to observability-driven testing using OpenTelemetry, logging, and tracing tools. \nExperience testing mobile applications (iOS/Android) and cross-platform workflows. \nExperience in QSR, retail, or high-scale consumer digital platforms. \nKnowledge of feature flags, progressive delivery, and canary
