You will work closely with development teams, partners, technology leads, and agile teams to validate functionality, performance, and security.\nThe Expertise You Have\nBachelor’s degree required; technology-related field preferred \n10+ years of experience testing and automating front-end and webservice applications \nHands-on experience with object-oriented programming languages (Java, C#, Groovy, etc.), HTTP, RESTful web services, Jenkins, and Git \nExperience using UI test automation frameworks (Selenium, Protractor, etc.) \nExperience testing and automating webservices (HttpClient, RestAssured, JMeter, SoapUI, etc.) \nAbility to investigate and debug issues with front-end applications and web services \nExperience testing Angular web applications \nKnowledge of software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations \nExperience in delivering software in the Agile environment. \nExperience with APIs is a plus \nExperience with contact center integration projects \nFamiliarity with Genesys or similar telephony platforms \nPrimary Responsibilities:\nUse your knowledge of testing and testability to influence better software design, promote accurate engineering practices, and ensure security and reliability \nActively participate in the development process by writing and maintaining application features and automated tests, including unit, component, integration, functional, performance, scenario, and interoperability tests \nSupport the team in creating reliable, portable, and trustworthy tests, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines \nCollaborate with team members on improving team's test coverage, release velocity and production health \nDesign and develop test automation for front-end applications and web services using Groovy/Geb and Java/HttpClient \nParticipate in application code and test code reviews with the Agile team \nThe Skills You Bring\nPassionate about crafting the best end-to-end customer experience \nOwns the outcome by taking personal accountability for delivering strong results \nExperience designing and building applications and using test automation frameworks \nMulti-stack engineer with knowledge in a breadth of technologies and test automation frameworks (Java, Groovy, Selenium, Geb, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTTP, RESTful web services) \nExtensive experience working with Java and its ecosystem \nStrong advocate for Test-Driven Development, writing testable and maintainable code \nSelf-directed, proactive, and results-oriented \nKeen attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset \nAble to learn large software systems end-to-end quickly \nInterest in learning new technologies and driving their adoption \nCompensation, Benefits and Duration\nMinimum Compensation: USD 37,000\nMaximum Compensation: USD 132,000\nCompensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate.
