standards for GCP services and cloud-native deployments.\n\nBuild enterprise-grade architectures using GCP services such as:\n\nGKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions\n\nBigQuery, Bigtable, Cloud SQL, Spanner\n\nCloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Memorystore, Artifact Registry\n\nConfigure and manage networking components including:\n\nVPCs, Shared VPC, Private Service Connect, VPC Peering\n\nLoad Balancers, Cloud DNS, Cloud Armor, Firewall Rules\n\nVPN and Interconnect connectivity solutions\n\nDrive standardization and consistency of cloud platform implementations across multiple projects and teams.\n\nReliability Engineering & Production Operations\nLead reliability engineering initiatives to improve platform stability, resiliency, scalability, and fault tolerance.\n\nEstablish and enforce operational best practices for monitoring, alerting, incident management, and disaster recovery.\n\nConduct production readiness reviews (PRRs) for new applications, services, and platform changes prior to production deployments.\n\nPerform capacity planning and infrastructure sizing to ensure platform scalability and performance under varying workloads.\n\nDefine and track platform SLIs, SLOs, and operational health metrics.\n\nLead root cause analysis (RCA) and resolution of critical production incidents and complex infrastructure issues.\n\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, availability, performance, and operational excellence.\n\nInfrastructure as Code (IaC)\nDevelop, enhance, and maintain Terraform modules and reusable infrastructure templates.\n\nEnsure consistency, reliability, and compliance across environments using Infrastructure as Code best practices.\n\nDrive automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.\n\nCollaborate with platform and Terraform engineering teams to improve reusable IaC standards and governance.\n\nContainerization & Microservices\nBuild and manage containerized applications using Docker.\n\nDeploy and manage workloads on Kubernetes (GKE) and Cloud Run platforms.\n\nSupport cloud-native and microservices-based application architectures.\n\nCollaborate with application teams to optimize container orchestration, deployment reliability, and scalability.\n\nMonitoring, Troubleshooting & Incident Management\nMonitor platform health using Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Dynatrace, and related observability tools.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, networking, deployment, and performance issues.\n\nAct as the senior technical escalation point for critical GCP platform related challenges.\n\nSupport application teams in diagnosing platform-related production issues and performance bottlenecks.\n\nSecurity, Governance & Compliance\nImplement and enforce IAM policies, security controls, and governancestandards across GCP environments.\n\nEnsure secure networking, data protection, and compliance best practices are consistently followed.\n\nGovern cloud resource usage, security posture, and platform standards across multiple projects and environments.\n\nCollaborate with security and compliance teams to support audits, risk remediation, and governance initiatives.\n\nTechnical Leadership\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior cloud and DevOps engineers.\n\nGuide engineering teams on GCP best practices, cloud-native architectures, automation strategies, and operational excellence.\n\nParticipate actively in technical planning discussions.\n\nMaintain and improve technical documentation, architectural standards, and operational runbooks.\n\nCollaboration & Agile Delivery\nParticipate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).\n\nCollaborate with:\n\nPlatform leads and architects\n\nDevelopment and QA teams\n\nSecurity and networking teams\n\nOnsite and offshore stakeholders\n\nMaintain and update technical documentation in Confluence and other tools.\n\nContinuous Improvement & Innovation\nStay up to date with the latest GCP innovations, cloud-native technologies, DevOps practices, and industry trends.\n\nIdentify opportunities for automation, optimization, performance tuning, and cost efficiency.\n\nDrive innovation in cloud platform engineering, observability, reliability engineering, and deployment automation.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\n\n6+ years of overall IT experience with minimum 4+ years of hands-on GCP experience.\n\nStrong hands-on experience with:\n\nGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP)\n\nTerraform (Infrastructure as Code)\n\nDocker & containerization\n\nKubernetes (GKE)\n\nCI/CD tools such as Jenkins and SonarQube\n\nScripting (Bash/Shell, Groovy)\n\nStrong understanding of:\n\nGCP architecture and cloud-native services\n\nReliability engineering and production operations\n\nNetworking (VPC, VPN, Interconnect, PSC)\n\nSecurity, IAM, and governance\n\nMonitoring, logging, and observability\n\nFamiliarity with
