Job Description

Job Title: Senior Systems Administrator. Location: British Columbia, Canada

Responsibilities:

• Administer Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, Azure AD/Microsoft Entra ID, virtual machines, networking, storage, RBAC, MFA, VPN, monitoring, and security controls
• Manage Windows Server, Windows endpoints, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, domain services, user accounts, and permissions
• Support switching, routing, VLANs, firewall rules, VPN connectivity, network segmentation, and connectivity troubleshooting
• Manage Microsoft Intune device enrollment, MDM/MAM policies, compliance settings, application deployment, and device troubleshooting
• Administer PKI and SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle, including requests, renewals, revocation, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Manage Azure and on-premises virtual machines, including provisioning, patching, backups, migrations, monitoring, and disaster recovery
• Support Linux systems across cloud and on-premises environments;
• Maintain colocation infrastructure, including rack management, hardware provisioning, cabling, asset coordination, and capacity planning
• Design, maintain, and support hybrid cloud environments connecting cloud, on-premises, and colocation infrastructure
• Strengthen security through endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation, incident response, access controls, and compliance activities
• Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, software installation, and technical issues
• Maintain technical documentation, prepare reports, mentor junior administrators, and contribute to continuous IT improvement

Qualifications:

• 5 to 10+ years of experience administering Microsoft Azure, Azure AD/Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, Windows Server, and Windows endpoints
• Experience with virtualization, cloud infrastructure, Linux systems, backups, monitoring, disaster recovery, and enterprise networking
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory health, and hybrid identity
• Security-focused experience with endpoint protection, MFA, access controls, vulnerability remediation, and incident response
• Experience managing PKI and SSL/TLS certificates, certificate authorities, trust chains, renewals, and certificate lifecycle;
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills across cloud, server, network, and endpoint environments
• Experience creating technical documentation, operational procedures, and reports
• Ability to mentor team members and contribute to continuous operational improvements

Preferred:

• Experience with colocation operations and hybrid cloud architecture
• Experience with Azure automation and infrastructure automation
• Knowledge of PKI governance and SSL certificate lifecycle tools
• Experience with Windows Server hardening and Active Directory recovery
• Experience with Azure AD/Microsoft Entra ID governance
• Knowledge of network segmentation, firewall administration, VPN management, and secure network architecture
• Experience with identity governance and security compliance frameworks

• Base salary of $104,300 to $130,400 per year
