Research owns the technical goal. Research ops generally owns everything it takes to deliver operationally.\nIn This Role You Will\nOwn scope, resourcing, and execution for external engagements once initial terms are set.\n\nTurn partner commitments into clear plans with milestones, owners, and resource needs.\n\nLead complex engagements with multiple teams, evolving requirements, and significant operational responsibility.\n\nBuild trusted relationships with key partner stakeholders and internal leads to work through constraints and keep decisions moving.\n\nExercise judgment on scope, timing, and resources, resolving tradeoffs and escalating decisions when needed.\n\nSecure and allocate the robots, people, support, and site time each engagement needs.\n\nBuild and lead the team supporting these engagements as the work grows.\n\nOversee on-site operations, including staffing, shifts, travel, and logistics, and step in directly when needed.\n\nKeep partners, researchers, and internal teams aligned on status, risks, and decisions.\n\nBuild practical playbooks and processes that make each engagement easier to run.\n\nWhat We Hope You'll Bring\n5+ years in program management, field operations, or technical project management.\n\nExperience running on-site launches or deployments of hardware or complex physical operations.\n\nTechnical fluency in ML and robotics, with the ability to navigate technical tradeoffs and lead discussions with external partners.\n\nExperience delivering external partner or customer programs.\n\nExperience staffing and managing teams across shifts and locations.\n\nWillingness to travel and work extended on-site stretches.\n\nBonus Points\nExperience in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or AI.\n\nExperience opening new sites, markets, or
