Pi turns that context into institutional security memory, helping teams triage faster, remediate in context, prevent repeat vulnerability classes, and embed security guardrails where engineering work already happens. We are building for a future where security is not a blocker at the end of the development process. It is part of how software gets designed, reviewed, shipped, and improved.\nPi was recognized on Fast Company's 2026Next Big Things in Tech list and covered byForbes!\nAbout the Role\nPi is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help define how we tell our product story and bring new capabilities to market.\nThis is a highly cross-functional, hands-on role at the intersection of marketing, product, and our customers. You’ll become deeply embedded in the product and the market, turning complex technical capabilities into clear, differentiated stories that resonate with product security and application security leaders, CISOs, security engineers, and developers.\nThis is an individual contributor role on the marketing team, reporting to the VP of Marketing.\nWe’re looking for someone who is an exceptional writer, intellectually curious, close to the customer, and equally comfortable shaping positioning and rolling up their sleeves to write the launch blog.\nWhat You’ll Do\nOwn product positioning and messaging. Develop clear, differentiated messaging that connects what Pi does to the problems our customers care about. Translate deeply technical capabilities into simple, compelling value without losing the technical substance.\nLive in the voice of the customer. Spend time with customers and prospects, listen to prospect and customer calls, and work closely with our field teams to understand how buyers describe their problems, what resonates, what creates friction, and why we win or lose. Turn those insights into better messaging, content, and product feedback.\nSupport product and feature launches. Partner closely with the product team to understand what’s coming, determine how significant it is, build the narrative, and support the go-to-market strategy and execution across marketing, customer success, and sales.\nBuild the content that brings the product story to life. You love words, and you love to write. Write and develop product pages, launch content, customer stories, solution briefs, technical collateral, presentations, thought leadership, videos, and other assets that make complex ideas easy to understand and hard to forget.\nOwn competitive and market intelligence. Develop a deep understanding of the product security and appsec landscape, emerging technologies, buyer priorities, and competitors. Help define where Pi is different and equip the company to communicate that differentiation clearly.\nEnable the field with messaging, presentations, battlecards, competitive insights, customer proof, and training they need to tell the Pi story confidently and win.\nHelp shape the category. Product security is changing quickly as AI transforms how software is built. You’ll help Pi develop a strong point of view on where the market is going and establish the narratives that define our position within it.\nWhat We’re Looking For\n5+ years of product marketing experience in enterprise B2B cybersecurity technology. Product Security, AppSec, or agentic SDLC experience required.\nExceptional writing and storytelling skills. You can take something technically complex and make it clear, concise, differentiated, and interesting.\nExperience owning positioning, messaging, and supporting go-to-market for technical products.\nA strong customer instinct. You want to hear directly from customers and prospects rather than build messaging in a vacuum\nExperience partnering closely with product and technical teams and enough technical curiosity to understand how the product actually works.\nStrong understanding of enterprise buyers and the ability to communicate to both executive and practitioner audiences.\nExperience building competitive intelligence and translating it into positioning and field enablement.\nA track record of leading product launches from positioning through execution.\nThe ability to operate independently, prioritize ruthlessly, and get things done in a fast-moving startup environment.\nLow ego and high ownership. You’re comfortable with hands-on execution.\nExperience helping an emerging company define or shape a new market category.\nTo learn more about Pi, visit our website:pi.security\nWhy Pi\nPi is backed by a $35 million Series A led by Third Point Ventures and Brightmind Partners, with support from CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz and Armis founders Yevgeny Dibrov and Nadir Izrael. Leading AI companies and enterprise innovators already rely on Pi, including xAI, Notion, Navan, Lemonade, and Teramind, and it's available through AWS Marketplace and a strategic partnership with Bugcrowd.\nOur founders have lived inside this problem. Guy Arazi was a security researcher at Microsoft, and Yoni Ramon led offensive security work at Tesla. You'll work closely with both.\nWe're early enough that every hire shapes the product, the team, and how we work. You'll build alongside a humble, passionate, ambitious, and genuinely fun team that cares deeply about what we're building and about our customers.\nWe hire for four things, and we work this way every day:\nSpeed. Velocity over polish. Something impactful this week beats a perfect plan for next quarter.\n\nDepth. You go past the point of requirement. That is usually where the interesting part starts anyway.\n\nCuriosity. The people who do best here ask the thing everyone assumed was already answered.\n\nAmbition. We take on assumptions this industry accepts as given, and disprove them.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nThe base salary range for this role in San Francisco is $140,000 - $200,000 per year. This is our good-faith estimate of what we expect to pay at hire. Where an offer lands depends on experience, skills, and level. Base salary is one part of total compensation, which also includes equity.\nMeaningful equity in Pi.Security\n\nMedical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your family, starting the 1st of the month after you join.\n\nFlexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) for health and dependent care\n\nCommuter benefits\n\nUnlimited PTO\n\n401(k)\n\nHealth and wellness stipend\n\nLunch allowance on in-office days\n\nEqual Opportunity\nPi.Security is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds and are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.","description_format":"text","description_chars":7063,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":5,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Equity","Unlimited PTO"],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Application Security","DevSecOps"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-28T17:25:23Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":73,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.816,"p_room":0.9,"age_days":44,"expected_fill_days":82,"reasons":["conf:1","velocity","win:mid"],"computed_at":"2026-10-24T06:02:35Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":200000,"is_top_pay":true},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/pi-product-marketing","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/pi-product-marketing.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-24T23:34:14Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":34703,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-25T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":1837564},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=1837564"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fpi-product-marketing"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fpi-product-marketing"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fpi-product-marketing"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/pi-product-marketing\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fpi-product-marketing"}]}
