\- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in thermal engineering for the space industry Main responsibilities: Support the design and development of mechanical/mechatronic systems. Define and develop thermal control concepts and architectures for spacecraft, space mechanisms and robotic systems. Perform thermal analyses, including steady-state and transient thermal simulations. Develop and maintain thermal mathematical models of complex mechanical and electromechanical systems. Define thermal boundary conditions, heat loads, thermal interfaces and material properties. Evaluate sizing cases for given orbits and mission phases/scenarios. Select and evaluate thermal control solutions, including insulation, heaters, radiators, thermal straps, conductive interfaces and temperature sensors. Support mechanical and system design teams in thermal-related design decisions and trade-off studies. Define and support thermal testing activities, including thermal balance and thermal cycling tests. Analyze test results and correlate thermal mathematical models with experimental data.
