Join us as we are growing into a major player in one of the fastest growing industries in the world.\nDescription\nWe are looking for a Senior Chemist with strong expertise in siloxane polymer synthesis and formulation experience to support our growth. In this key role, as part of our research and development team, you will create value to our customers by enabling and enhancing their integrated circuits and components. You will design synthesis processes and conduct laboratory experiments and analyses to develop new products. Your work includes reporting to program leader and customers. To succeed in this role, you should be a dynamic individual with a solid technical background.\nYour task will include:\nExecute and manage research and development projects.\n\nDesign and execute experiments for the synthesis of siloxane polymers\n\nDevelop and optimize formulations for the targeted application\n\nCharacterize materials using analytical techniques such as NMR, GPC, GC, FTIR, TGA, and other relevant methods.\n\nAnalyze experimental data using statistical tools such as Minitab or equivalent software to identify trends and optimize formulations\n\nCollaborate closely with the process engineers to transfer the lab scale results into scalable production processes.\n\nReport and communicate the results internally as well as to partners and customers globally.\n\nSupport troubleshooting and continues improvement in the scale up process.\n\nDesired skills and abilities:\nPhD or MSC in Polymer chemistry, material science, or related fields\n\nMinimum 4 years of experience in a similar role in polymer synthesis, purification, and analysis.\n\nStrong understanding of polymer synthesis routes\n\nProven experience in purification techniques\n\nProficiency in polymer characterization and film analysis\n\nProficiency in data analysis and experimental design, ideally using Minitab, or similar tool.\n\nExcellent problem solving, documentation, and communication skill.\n\nAbility to work in a collaborative R&D environment and manage multiple projects.\n\nGood team spirit and a solid team player.\n\nPreferred experience:\nBackground in microelectronics, coatings, or advanced materials development\n\nFamiliarity with surface modification, adhesion control, or lithography-related materials\n\nWe offer:\nRewarding and challenging position with real possibilities to create enabling materials for next generation semiconductors and displays.\n\nSupportive colleagues and an international business environment.\n\nA great opportunity to be a part of one of the fastest growing companies in its field.\n\nExcellent career development opportunities.\n\nDynamic atmosphere and inspirational lean organization.\n\nAn employer who invests in wellbeing of its employees.\n\nPibond is a rapidly growing innovator of materials used in the semiconductor industry.
