This position partners closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Program Management to identify risks, resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and continuously improve manufacturing processes. The Quality Engineer plays a key role in maintaining compliance while supporting customer, supplier, and internal quality initiatives\nResponsibilities Include:\nProduct & Manufacturing Quality\nReview customer specifications, fabrication drawings, engineering documentation, and process requirements.\nSupport new product introduction (NPI) activities to ensure quality requirements are incorporated into manufacturing.\nDevelop inspection plans, work instructions, quality checklists, and process documentation.\nAnalyze manufacturing yields, scrap, defects, and process capability to identify improvement opportunities.\nPartner with Manufacturing and Engineering to implement process improvements.\nCustomer & Supplier Quality\nManage customer complaints, RMAs, SCARs, CARs, and internal corrective actions.\nLead root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies (5 Why, Fishbone, 8D, etc.).\nInterface with customers regarding quality concerns and corrective actions.\nWork with suppliers to improve quality performance, including PPAP, FAIRs, capability studies, and supplier corrective actions.\nQuality Systems\nAssist in maintaining compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485, AS9100, ITAR, and customer quality requirements.\nSupport internal audits and external certification audits.\nMaintain quality metrics and prepare management reports.\nAssist with document control and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.\nContinuous Improvement\nLead CAPA activities.\nParticipate in Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.\nDevelop and monitor KPIs related to quality performance.\nDrive continual improvement projects across manufacturing operations.\n Knowledge & Skills:\nWorking knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.\nFamiliarity with AS9100, ISO 13485, and ITAR requirements is preferred.\nExperience with statistical analysis, SPC, process capability studies (Cp/Cpk), GR&R, DOE, PFMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP.\nStrong root cause analysis and corrective action experience.\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings, PCB fabrication drawings, schematics, and customer specifications.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office;
