opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency and the overall customer experience.Minimum Requirements:\nGrade 12 or equivalent qualification and Qualified Baker certification\nRetail Management Diploma or related qualification (advantageous).\nMinimum 5 years’ experience in Bakery Managementwithin a retail or similar environment.\nIn-depth knowledge of bakery processes, production planning and operational procedures.\nStrong understanding of retail bakery operations, including product availability, merchandising, quality control and stock management.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excelfor reporting, data analysis and operational tracking.\nExtensive knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and stock rotation principles.\nExperience working with SAP or similar retail management and promotional products.\nMonitor and guide daily production planning to align with customer demand and sales targets.\nSupport Bakery Managers in maintaining efficient production processes and operational consistency across stores.\nProduct Availability & Merchandising\nDrive availability and presentation of key bakery ranges in line with company merchandising standards.\nEnsure promotional lines and focus products are executed effectively in stores.\nMonitor in-store displays, product freshness and range assortment to improve the customer offering.\nEnsure stores maintain strong visual merchandising standards within the bakery department\n.\nQuality, Food Safety & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards and company policies.\nMonitor adherence to recipe manuals, portion control standards and production guidelines.\nConduct operational audits to ensure quality and product consistency across stores.\nAddress quality or compliance issues and implement corrective actions where required.\nFinancial Performance & Cost Control\nMonitor and analyse sales performance, margins, waste and stock levels.\nSupport stores in improving profitability through cost management and waste reduction initiatives.\nGuide Bakery Managers on selling price management and margin optimisation.\nReview store performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.\nStock & Inventory Management\nMonitor stock levels and ordering processes to ensure product availability.\nSupport stores in maintaining accurate stock control and stock take processes.\nEnsure appropriate management of raw materials, packaging and operational supplies.\nTeam Support, Training & Capability Building\nSupport Bakery Managers with staffing, recruitment and onboarding within the bakery department.\nProvide training, coaching and mentoring to bakery teams to improve operational capability.\nAssist with performance management and development of bakery staff.\nPromote a culture of customer service, teamwork and operational excellence.\nStore Performance Monitoring & Reporting\nConduct regular store visits to review operational performance and compliance with standards.\nProvide structured feedback and action plans following store visits.\nMonitor implementation of operational improvements and business initiatives.\nMarket & Competitor Analysis\nMonitor competitor activity, pricing, product trends and promotions in the market.\nIdentify opportunities to improve product range, pricing strategies and customer offering.\nShare insights and recommendations with store management and regional leadership.\nCustomer Experience\nEnsure bakery departments deliver a high-quality customer experience through product availability, freshness
