Supervisor, or Bakery Manager\nMinimum 1 to 3 year's experience in a bakery supervisor, or management role\nStrong understanding of bakery production, food safety, and stock management\nExcellent leadership, communication, and people management skills\nAbility to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays\nCompetencies\nHas a passion for bakery products and customer service\nLeads by example and inspires their team to perform at their best\nUnderstands how to balance quality, production, and profitability\nHas strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills\nThrives in a fast-paced retail environment\nIs committed to delivering exceptional standards every day\nKey Responsibilities\nOperational Excellence\nEnsure the Bakery Department is fully prepared for trade each day with excellent product availability and presentation.\nExecute operational plans and merchandising standards in line with company requirements.\nMaintain exceptional hygiene, food safety, and housekeeping standards.\nEnsure compliance with all bakery operating procedures and food safety regulations.\nProduct Quality & Production\nManage daily production planning to ensure fresh products are available throughout the trading day.\nMonitor product quality, consistency, presentation, and freshness.\nEnsure recipes, yields, and production standards are consistently achieved.\nOversee product packaging, labelling, and display standards.\nCommercial & Sales Performance\nDrive sales growth through effective production planning and stock availability.\nMonitor sales trends and customer demand to maximise turnover opportunities.\nManage waste, shrinkage, and stock losses to improve profitability.\nDeliver departmental sales and gross profit targets.\nStock Management\nEnsure effective stock control, ordering, rotation, and replenishment.\nParticipate in stock takes and maintain accurate stock records.\nApply FIFO principles and proactively manage stock levels to minimise losses.\nTeam Leadership\nLead, coach, and develop a high-performing bakery team.\nDrive a culture of accountability, customer service, and teamwork.\nConduct training on bakery standards, production processes, and food safety requirements.\nMotivate and inspire employees to consistently deliver outstanding results.\nClosing date: 23
