categories.\nManage GMD operations to achieve or exceed budgets, turnover, and gross profit targets.\nMonitor sales and expense budgets, analysing variances and implementing corrective actions.\nIdentify opportunities to increase sales and improve customer engagement.\nStock & Merchandise Management\nLead the team to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize out-of-stock situations.\nAnalyse stock reports and take timely action to ensure correct product availability and range.\nOversee merchandising standards and ensure compliance with planograms and visual guidelines.\nImplement and monitor shrinkage control measures to minimize losses.\nCustomer Service Excellence\nEnsure consistent delivery of high-quality customer service by all team members.\nRespond to customer queries and concerns in a professional and solution-oriented manner.\nPromote a culture focused on customer satisfaction and positive shopping experiences.\nPeople Leadership & Performance Management\nLead, motivate, and coach the sales team to achieve departmental goals.\nMonitor individual and team performance, providing regular feedback and implementing corrective actions where necessary.\nFoster a high-performance culture characterized by teamwork, accountability, and urgency.\nPromotions & Marketing\nCoordinate and execute promotional and marketing activities within the department.\nEnsure in-store promotions are correctly implemented and effectively communicated to customers.\nOperations & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and safety regulations.\nUphold security and stock control measures to reduce shrinkage.\nMaintain accurate records and reporting related to sales, stock, and
