Must be familiar with surveying field concepts, practices and procedures.\nResponsibilities:\nConduct land surveys.\nMeasure field locations of objects, dimensions and boundaries of land areas, position of points, lines and grades.\nOperate conventional and electronic field surveying equipment.\nSets up and operates total stations, GPS receivers, data collectors, and other equipment.\nEstablish angels and distances for mapping, construction, stake out, and the establishment of control.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED.\n1 year experience in land surveying.\nPrinciples and Practices of land surveying\nKnowledge of conventional and electronic survey equipment\nMicrosoft Office Suites (Word/Excel/Outlook)\nMathematics\nBasic knowledge of regulations, policies and procedures\nExercising independent judgement\nInitiative, creativity, problem-solving, time management and planning.\nStrong communication, written, technical, and analytical skills.\nStrong work ethic.\nCandidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy.\nPreferred:\nBachelor’s degree in surveying or relative course work.\nWork Environment: This job operates outside in all-weather conditions.\nTravel: Most travel is limited to short or day trips to visit job sites.
