In this role, you will manage material receiving, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure manufacturing has the continuous resources required to succeed. You will collaborate closely with Supply Chain and Manufacturing to master our product lifecycle, uphold quality standards, and drive operational efficiency.\nFor a dedicated and proactive individual, this role offers exceptional visibility and a clear trajectory for professional development.\nResponsibilities\nReceive, inspect, document, label, and properly store incoming components, assemblies, and materials.\n\nPerform inventory transactions accurately and consistently within our inventory systems.\n\nMaintain an organized stockroom and ensure materials are stored in the correct locations.\n\nPerform cycle counts and help investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.\n\nPick, kit, stage, and move materials to support manufacturing needs.\n\nMaintain appropriate material identification and traceability throughout receiving, inventory, and production.\n\nHelp identify shortages, discrepancies, damaged materials, and other issues and work with the appropriate team members to resolve them.\n\nSupport shipping, receiving, and other material handling activities as needed.\n\nFollow established receiving and inventory procedures while providing feedback on opportunities to make them better.\n\nWork closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations to keep materials moving and support changing production priorities.\n\nHelp document and improve inventory and receiving procedures as our operations mature.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n3+ years of hands-on experience in receiving, inventory, warehouse operations, stockroom operations, material handling, or a related environment.\n\nExperience receiving, storing, picking, counting, and moving physical inventory.\n\nExperience performing inventory transactions using an ERP, MRP, warehouse, or inventory management system.\n\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accurate recordkeeping.\n\nAbility to stay organized while balancing multiple priorities.\n\nWillingness to perform hands-on warehouse, receiving, and material handling work every day.\n\nAbility to recognize problems, communicate them clearly, and help drive them toward resolution.\n\nDependable and comfortable taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.\n\nAbility to work collaboratively with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations.\n\nAbility to lift and move materials consistent with warehouse and receiving responsibilities.\n\nAbility to meet the export control requirements outlined below.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working in aerospace, defense, electronics, robotics, automotive, or another hardware manufacturing environment.\n\nExperience in a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment.\n\nExperience working at a startup or growing hardware company.\n\nFamiliarity with production material control, kitting, work orders, or manufacturing support.\n\nExperience working with serialized, lot-controlled, or otherwise traceable inventory.\n\nExperience performing cycle counts and resolving inventory discrepancies.\n\nExperience helping improve warehouse layouts, inventory organization, receiving processes, or SOPs.\n\nExposure to ERP or MRP implementations, migrations, or process changes.\n\nInterest in developing broader skills in inventory operations, material control, manufacturing operations, or supply chain\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nStarting pay: $35.00 per hour.\n\nSignificant stock options with high potential upside as an early-stage company.\n\n401(k) with employer matching.\n\nMedical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your family\n\nRelocation assistance provided (if applicable).\n\nAccrued PTO at 4.615 hours for every 40 hours worked + 40 hours sick time per year for hourly employees\n\nPaid parental leave for both parents.\n\nLunch provided when working in-office and a fully stocked kitchenette.\n\nFree EV charging at HQ\n\nExport Control Requirements\nTo conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.\nEqual Employment Opportunity (EEO) Policy\nPicogrid is committed to providing a professional work environment free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
