We offer a collaborative, hands-on environment where your technical ideas and contributions can make a real impact.\n The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys figuring out how and why things work, is comfortable designing and conducting experiments, and takes pride in maintaining accurate records and communicating results.\nWhat You'll Do\nProduct & Process Development\nWork with a team to conduct laboratory experiments to develop and improve new materials, formulations, and processes.\nSupport the development of new materials and formulations, particularly in catalysis and related process technologies.\nAssist in the development and new experimental methods and processes.\nAssist with the design and construction of laboratory apparatus and equipment used to support new materials and processes.\nHelp to analyze experimental results, identify trends and issues, and make recommendations for next steps.\nMaintain detailed and accurate records of experiments, procedures, observations, and results.\nClearly communicate experimental results, new capabilities, challenges, and recommendations to the Director of Product & Process Development and other members of the team.\nSupport the development and protection of intellectual property.\nAssist with scale-up activities as new materials, formulations, and processes transition from laboratory development into production.\nHelp troubleshoot process and material issues and contribute to practical solutions.\nLaboratory Responsibilities\nPrepare materials and samples for laboratory testing and development activities.\nPerform laboratory experiments and testing according to established procedures and development plans.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.\nFollow all laboratory safety procedures and company requirements.\nMaintain laboratory equipment and identify equipment or process issues.\nAssist with and, when appropriate, provide direction to technicians involved in preparing material samples for assigned projects.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific or technical field.\nDemonstrated ability to successfully design, conduct, and document experiments.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accurate laboratory documentation.\nAbility to analyze experimental results and communicate findings clearly.\nAbility to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a technical team.\nStrong organizational and problem-solving skills.\nCommitment to laboratory safety and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with materials development, formulations, catalysis, ceramics, chemicals, or process development.\nLaboratory or research experience through internships, undergraduate research, or previous employment.\nExperience transitioning laboratory processes toward production or scale-up.\nMechanical aptitude or hands-on mechanical ability is a strong plus.\nExperience building, modifying, or troubleshooting laboratory apparatus or equipment.\nFamiliarity with technical documentation and intellectual property development.\nWhy Join Us?\nThis is more than a traditional laboratory technician position.
