In return, you'll join a growing organization that values quality work, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nKey Responsibilities\nComplete interior and exterior painting projects across residential properties, ensuring a high-quality finish that enhances property appearance and resident satisfaction. \nPrepare surfaces for painting by sanding, scraping, patching, cleaning, and removing old paint as required. \nApply paints, primers, and protective coatings to preserve building surfaces and safeguard against water damage, mold, and water. \nPerform general aesthetic maintenance and touch-ups to support the overall condition and curb appeal of the portfolio. \nCollaborate with our Renovations Lead to prioritize work, address property needs, and maintain high operating standards. \nManage painting materials, equipment, and inventory efficiency while identifying opportunities to reduce supply and operating costs. \nMaintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces, ensuring proper cleanup and disposal of materials following each project.\nAvailable for on-call duties, evenings and weekends. Hours may change based on operational needs.\nCrucial Knowledge & Skills\nStrong painting skills with experience preparing, repairing, and finishing a variety of surfaces. \nKnowledge of paints, primers, coatings, and common painting tools and equipment. \nExcellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. \nStrong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. \nProfessional communication and customer service skills. \nAbility to safely work at heights and lift up to 50 lbs.\nUnderstanding of workplace health and safety practices and the ability to maintain safe work environment. \nEducation & Experience Required\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent. \nMinimum 5 years of professional painting experience. \nCommercial painting experience is required. \nExperience with exterior building painting, balcony painting, line painting, and low-rise residential properties.\nComfortable working at heights and using ladders and related equipment safely.\nEligible to work in Canada and successfully pass a criminal background check. \nValid Ontario Class G Drivers License and access to a reliable vehicle.\nKnowledge of Ontario Residential Tenancies legislation and landlord/tenant responsibilities considered an asset.\nDemonstrated alignment with Pier 4's core values: Professionalism, Integrity, Excellence, and Respect. \nAdditional Details:\nCompetitive Salary Range: $40,000-60,000\nLocation: London, Ontario.\nComprehensive Total Rewards Package: Competitive compensation and benefits program.\nExtended Long Weekends: Enjoy regular 4-day long weekends throughout the year on every statutory holiday.\nCompany Culture: Frequent team-building activities, social events, and employee celebrations.\nDiversity, Equity, and Inclusion\nAt Pier 4, we believe that diverse perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds strengthen our team and drive better outcomes.
