By adhering to transportation regulations, biosecurity protocols, and company policies, the LiveHaul Driver plays a vital role in supporting operational continuity, bird health, and the overall success of Pilgrim’s supply chain.\nResponsibilities:\nOperate livehaul trucks safely and efficiently.\nConduct equipment inspections following company guidelines and report issues to the Supervisor.\nOperatetrucks in a manner that maintains product quality and integrity.\nCommunicate effectively-both verbally and in writing-with associates, maintenance staff, growers, and supervisors regarding farm conditions, and other relevant information.\nMaintain equipment and keep trucks and work areas clean, neat, and orderly.\nPick upeach flock as directed.\nFollow thehousekeeping schedule, using propertechniques and required PPE.\nFoster a positive work environment through cooperative communication and teamwork.\nOperate and move fan trailers as needed?\nOther duties as assigned.\nWhat You’ll Need:\nCertifications & Licenses: applicants must have 12 months of verifiable tractor/trailer experience within the previous 36 months.\nif the driver has a positive test for drugs or alcohol in the previous 5 years,they are not eligible.\nSkills: Ability to communicate effectively with others in a manner that maintains harmony with co-workers, ability to follow both written and verbal directions, appropriate skill to drive a truck safely, working knowledge of driving and traffic rules, good hand and eye coordination required.\n·Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more\n·Must have the ability to operate a manual CMV\nWhy Work for Pilgrim’s?\nSchedule:Nights, typically working 10-to-12-hour shifts - 1 opening on the 6:00 PM shift (Sunday-Thursday), 2 openings on the 10:00 PM shift (Sunday-Thursday), 2 openings on the 2:00 AM shift (Monday-Friday)\nBenefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment.\nPaid Time Off:Sick leave, vacation, company observed holidays or, any other statutorily required paid leave\n401(k):Company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule.\nBasehourlysalary- Pay is hourly, plus a mileage rate.
