In this role, you will research and resolve customer-reported discrepancies related to product quality, shortages, transportation issues, and other claim-related matters. We value positive attitudes, strong teamwork, and a willingness to learn. While prior claims and deductions experience is beneficial, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong analytical thinking, accountability, customer service skills, and a desire to grow.\nResponsibilities:\nInvestigate and resolve customer-reported discrepancies related to product quality, shortages, transportation issues, and other claim-related matters.\nAnalyze information from multiple sources to identify root causes and make informed decisions.\nUtilize Esker to save documentation, process claims, and route approvals through the appropriate workflow.\nUse SAP to clear deductions, process resolutions, and track credit memos.\nApply critical thinking and sound decision-making skills to minimize revenue leakage in a fast-paced environment.\nCommunicate with a sense of urgency and professionalism through phone and email with customers, carriers, plant personnel, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.\nFacilitate collection efforts with customers and carriers when reimbursement is owed.\nMaintain accurate and organized documentation to support audit and compliance requirements.\nContribute ideas and recommendations that improve team processes, efficiency, and effectiveness.\nOther duties as assigned \nQualifications:\nPrior experience with claims, deductions, accounts receivable, dispute resolution, or customer account management preferred but not required.\n2-3 years of customer service, account management, operations, logistics, or related field preferred.\nStrong investigative and analytical mindset with the ability to research issues, identify root causes, and solve problems.\nSelf-motivated learner who is adaptable, receptive to feedback, and eager to develop new skills.\nIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.\nExcellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.\nAbility to work independently while maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented approach.\nCan perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation \nThe applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:\nBenefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;\nPaid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;\n 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule; \nBase salary range of $19-$21/hour;\nIncentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and \nCareer Development: Our company is dedicated to supporting professional growth by offering continuous learning opportunities and a focus on career growth through various learning and development programs.\nThe posted salary range represents the Company’s good faith estimate of the compensation that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this role at the time of posting.
