This role oversees day-to-day conversion and rendering operations to achieve production goals while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, sanitation, animal by-product handling, and environmental compliance. The supervisor will lead and engage hourly partners, promote positive employee morale, and serve as a key liaison between hourly teams and upper management to ensure operational objectives are clearly communicated and achieved. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy developing people while delivering results, this is an excellent opportunity to grow with a company committed to excellence and sustainability.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nManage the productionwithin the facility. \nMonitoring performance of each department to meet production efficiency, yield and quality goals.\nProviding a clear sense of direction for supervisors to work toward and encourage teamwork to achieve goals\nMonitoring operations to meet company policies, quality specifications, USDA and OSHA standards.\nConducting plant inspections to eliminate hazardous conditions.\nManaging all aspects of operations to assure a safe working environment\nEnsure customer and regulatory requirements are met by maintainingproduct quality standards, monitoring specifications, and addressing deviations promptly.\nMonitor production data, yields, downtime, and labor efficiency, using analysis to drive process improvements, cost control, and productivity enhancements.\nEnforce safety programs and best practices, conduct audits and incident investigations, and ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA guidelines, and food/feed safety standards.\nTake on additional responsibilities as needed to support the Operations Team.\nWhat You’ll Need\nEducation: High School Diploma or GED required.
