Make daily plant inspections to uncover unsafe work practices and conditions before they cause accidents. \nEnsure compliance with all state and federal laws and company policies on industrial safety and health.\nAssist the complex safety manager and management team in setting standards for personal protective equipment and machine guarding. Work with the Occupational Health Department to help develop our ergonomics program.\nAssist in approving designs for new and modified equipment and inspect such equipment before putting into operation.\nOther duties as assigned or required\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nMinimum High School or GED\nCollege Degree preferred but not required\nExcellent written and verbal communications skills- Including phone etiquette\nSelf-Starter, energetic, good attitude\nMust be able to demonstrate effective people skills\nTeam Player\nComputer skills and knowledge including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Qlikview, Alchemy\nTrustworthy - Will be handling confidential material\nGood attendance record\nBilingual preferred but not required\nMust attach a Resume to be considered\nWe are an equal opportunity employer.
