The mission of our Internal Audit team is to be a trusted business advisor, adding value and helping the organization meet its strategic objectives. The SeniorIT Internal Auditor will represent our department by being professional, responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. We are seeking candidates who are highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. Most importantly we are seeking a team player who can work effectively with team members at all levels throughout the organization.\nResponsibilities:\nResponsible for the verification and audit of Information Technology General Controls (ITGCs) and application controls; documentation and issuance of management reports on the design and effectiveness of controls across the company\nBe a contributor, and eventually a potential leader, of the success of the IT SOX programs at Pilgrim’s Pride and JBS USA\nFollow up with management on previous audit findings to ensure action plans have been completed\nCoordinate with IT governance team to develop solutions to address IT control deficiencies, and monitoring of related action plans\nProvide guidance to IT groups as it relates to control interpretation, applicability and practice\nLead the IT control walk-throughs to determine necessary/applicable modifications\nUnderstand and identify root cause of control deficiencies\nParticipate in the development and performance of the IT audit plan; work as an integrated team with the other Audit team members on joint financial/IT reviews\nOwnership and accountability for the IT General Controls and Application Controls Testing\nAssist in the development of a combined assurance approach and work with, and coordinate work with external audit, when required\nAbility to multitask on a variety of projects within a single day, which presents the opportunity for tremendous personal growth for IA staff\nThis role is expected to be an individual contributor and a strong team player, with a strong awareness and demonstration of the JBS values daily\nPerform special projects as needed\nOther duties as assigned \nQualifications:\nMinimum 2-3 years of prior IT Audit experience is required\nBachelor's Degree in related field (i.e. Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting)\nStrong understanding of the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 (Narratives, Risk Matrix, Control Templates, Testing, Certifications, Remediation)\nUnderstanding of multiple technology domains including software development, Windows, database management, networking preferred\nUnderstanding of information security standards, best practices for securing computer systems, and applicable laws and regulations\nHands-on experience in planning and executing SOX and risk-based control testing within SAP environments, including access, change management, configuration, and automated application controls.\nThe ability to understand how project deliverables impact the big picture\nDemonstrated ability to work within a team in a cohesive and collaborative manner\nAbility to work within tight deadlines\nStrong reporting and presentation skills\nExperience with Auditboard is preferred\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to present complex ideas and concepts to all levels throughout the organization\nRelated certifications such as CISA, CISM, CPA/CA are strongly preferred\nExperience creating or working with Information Security policies and standards\nWillingness to travel up to 20%\nCan perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation\nAs a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations.
