They will be involved in projects and corrective actions for all equipment in our facility\nEducation and experience requirements:\nMust have at least 5 years documented electrical experience\nPrefer a technician that has been through the electrical apprentice program\nOr prefer a technician with a journey- man card or electrician or master electrician certificate\nMust have a high school diploma or GED.\nSkill Summary:\nMust have intermediate knowledge of PLC’s, soft starts and VFD’s. \nCan demonstrate experience with reading ladder logic and or troubleshooting by inputs and outputs at the PLC.\nCan demonstrate reading an electrical schematic - will be asked to do so during the interview.\nMust be able to understand the NEC manual and understand the code that will apply to voltage, power supplies, amperage, controls and troubleshooting\nMust practice and understand LO/TO and Arc Flash.\nMust understand 3 phase 480, 240 and 208 circuits. \nUnderstand 277 volts and lighting systems to include emergency lights, exit lights and UPS systems\nMust be able to troubles shoot 120 volt and 24 VDC control circuits\nMust be able to demonstrate use of multi-meter, amp-probe and megger when troubleshooting.\nMust be able to install and remove any electrical motor and pump in the facility and be able to trouble shoot and make necessary repairs.\nMust be able to run conduit and pull wire in ridged and seal tight conduit\nMust be able to work over time when scheduled or needed and this includes weekends and holidays.\nMust be able to do mechanical work, troubleshooting, installations and repairs ( multi-craft).\nMust have their own hand tools and tool box\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:\nLess than high school education; 2 year of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nLICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:\nNone\nTRAINING REQUIREMENTS/METHODS:\nAll employees are required to attend employee and safety orientation prior to performing the above duties. Once the employee completes this training they will be assigned to a Supervisor who will further orient the employee to the workplace, introduce him/her to employees and other supervision, demonstrate work assignment and explain ingress and egress procedures to and from work station.
