The Fleet Safety Coordinator oversees and maintains compliant DOT and company record retention processes for the complex. They are a central position for the flow of documentation and information from the Driver Managers to the Fleet Safety Department. They are courteous and professional at all times as they will be communicating with internal and external personnel.\nResponsibilities:\nConduct a weekly minimum audit for 10% of the complex fleet to ensure compliance. \nWork closely with Driver Managers and HR to process new drivers and oversee compliance for all drivers. \nMonitor and maintain Driver Qualification files in Driver Management On-line Program for accuracy. \nPoint of contact for complex management team for all Fleet Safety/DOT compliant processes. \nMonitor driver hours of service records to ensure compliance and address all concerns. \nFacilitate a monthly Accident Review Board Meeting to assign accountability. \nMonitor Pro-Tread Driver Training Process. \nConduct Smith System Driver Training. \nWhat You’ll Need:\nProficient in Microsoft Office Applications\nMust possess strong organizational skills.\nBe able to multi-task in a fast-paced atmosphere.\nHands on and detailed orientated\nGood internal relationships\nHave Fleet Safety/DOT regulations as a top priority.\nKnowledge of Driver Management On-line beneficial\nKnowledge of DOT regulations beneficial\nCertified as a Smith System Instructor or be able to obtain certification.\nHigh School Diploma/GED required with some college preferred.\nWhy Work for Pilgrim’s?\nSchedule: Monday - Friday\nBenefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;\nPaid Time Off:Sick leave, vacation, company observed holidays or, any other statutorily required paid leave;\n401(k):company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule; \nBase salaryrange of $45,000 - $48,000/year based on experience and education;\nCareer Development: Our company is dedicated to supporting professional growth by offering continuous learning opportunities and a focus on career growth through various learning and development programs;\n Better Futures\nThe Company is dedicated to ensuring a safe and secure environment for our team members and visitors.
