This role supports efficient production operations by ensuring equipment reliability, implementing preventive maintenance practices, and advancing control system capabilities. The Specialist will also serve as a technical resource for training and continuous improvement initiatives.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\nTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems and equipment across the facility.\nPerform and support preventive maintenance (PM) procedures on electrical and control systems.\nSupervises, trains, and develops sanitation employees, fostering a skilled and engaged team.\nAssist in the design, installation, and implementation of new control systems and upgrades.\nResearch and develop improved electrical controls and automation processes to enhance performance and efficiency.\nTrack, analyze, and resolve recurring electrical issues through root cause identification and corrective actions.\nIdentify equipment weaknesses related to electrical systems and recommend effective solutions.\nMaintain a strong understanding of electrical systems and controls to support safe and efficient operations.\nTrain operators and maintenance technicians on equipment functionality, troubleshooting, and best practices.\nCollaborate with maintenance and production teams to ensure uninterrupted and efficient production.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.\nEducation or Experience:\nEducation: High School Diploma/GED; any and all other electrical certifications to include technical college and/or manufacturing certifications. i.e. Allen Bradley, Square D, etc.\nExperience: Industrial electrical experience required; prefer 2-4 years of documented experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment; Industrial electrical experience, extensive schematic reading capability, PLC coding/troubleshooting.\nBASIC SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:\nStrong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams;experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills\nKnowledge of electrical control systems, instrumentation, and automation\nAbility to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.\nEffective communication skills for training and cross-functional collaboration and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.\nThe selection process is based on a panel interview, a series of standardized and/or hands on testing issued by the company/third party testing facility.
