Equipment Operator Distribution

Position Summary:

Replenish product for order processing completion in a timely manner by operating equipment in a safe and consistent manner adhering to rules and guidelines established by OSHA and the company.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

• Print and review the Replenishment report on a daily basis. Locate product, scan, and move product to Pick Module’s assigned locations. Create locations for new products when necessary.
• Use the RF (Radio Frequency) scan gun to record all product movement.
• Prioritize items on hold for order completion on the lanes.
• Perform Pallet Replenishment and Pallet Picks when needed.
• Move ticketed material within the Warehouse (staging area, storage racks and replenishment racks) when needed.
• Report inventory discrepancies to Inventory Control for investigation.
• Assist with the loading and offloading of domestic trucks to the staging area or racks, when needed.
• Assist with full case picking, updating partial lanes, clearing hospital lanes, partial cases and end of runs put away, when needed.
• Support year-end inventory audit.
• Monitor inventory structure, suggest suitable strategy and methods to optimize the inventory level.
• Keep equipment and work area organized and clean.
• Sustain 5S lean guidelines and procedures. Recommend Lean process changes and improvements.
• Work extended shifts and/or weekends as required.

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma plus up to three years of Warehouse experience. Certification in forklift operation required.

Skills Required:

Speak and comprehend direction and feedback as articulated in English. Good math and computer skills. Perform work independently, accurately, and thoroughly. Able to adapt to changes in the work priorities. Use of RF (Radio Frequency) scan gun device. Safely operate material-moving equipment such as Cherry Order Picker and Turret Truck as needed.
