# ITSD - Software Engineer II

Job Description Summary Performs advanced level application development activities which include reviewing and understanding business requirements documentation, completing system and application design, working with existing code libraries, writing application code in various languages, using AI tools to assist in coding and testing, and performing advanced troubleshooting analysis to identify code defects. Assignments include new application development projects and base operations support for both in-house developed and vendor systems and integrations that range from basic to moderately complex.This is a classified position that reports to the Manager, Application Development. The incumbent performs duties under general supervision, has no supervisory responsibilities, and is expected to provide mentoring and higher-level technical assistance to other software engineers or ITSD co-workers.
