As a Client Operations Specialist, you will closely partner with client management and work cross-functionally to uncover client needs, translate them into actionable plans, and execute accordingly. You contribute positively to the work environment and organizational culture, aligning with PIMCO's core values of Collaboration, Openness, Responsibility, and Excellence.\nResponsibilities\nThe key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nOversee the portfolio event process, encompassing onboarding new accounts, managing terminations, facilitating in-kind transfers, and modifying existing portfolios.\nIdentify opportunities to enhance operational processes and mitigate potential risks.\nCollaborate cross-functionally to develop and implement innovative client solutions, while enhancing existing processes to elevate the client experience.\nAssist in documenting project phases and preparing summary reports for management review.\nCoordinate activities across various departments, including Client Management, Client Servicing, Portfolio Management, Product Management, Legal, Compliance, Funds Administration, Analytics, Performance, and Operations, as well as with external stakeholders such as clients, banks, and transition managers.\nFoster a collaborative team environment by building strong relationships and demonstrating how each team member contributes to the overall success of projects.\nEngage in all stages of the client portfolio lifecycle, sharing responsibility for key implementation decisions.\nQualifications\nMinimum of a bachelor’s degree required,\nMinimum 5 years of professional experience within Client Operations in the financial services industry, preferably focused on fixed income. \nDemonstrated knowledge of the portfolio event process. \nWorking knowledge of economics, fixed income fundamentals, or portfolio management.\nPrior experience working in/with Client Management and/or Transitions Management.\nStrong project management skills. \nExperience automating business processes utilizing workflow automation, business intelligence, or other productivity tools.\nExperience in investment operations or with derivatives.\nPIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors.
