Pine partners with B2B ERP and technology services firms for the long run, giving each company the resources of a larger organization while preserving the culture and client relationships that made it successful.\nWho We Need\nThird Wave is growing and is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting and the month-end close for its South Bend business unit. This person will own the books from day one, partner closely with AP and AR, and serve as a key user of the company's Acumatica ERP. The role reports to the VP of Finance and works alongside a peer Accounting Manager who leads a second business unit. It is a strong fit for a hands-on accountant who has run a close before, enjoys building clean processes, and wants to grow with a business.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn the month-end close for the South Bend business unit, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial statements\n\nOversee day-to-day accounting with the AP and AR team, keeping payables, receivables, and cash current and accurate\n\nManage software and services invoicing, ensuring billing runs on schedule and purchase orders and sales orders match\n\nTrack margin across software resale and services so leadership has clear visibility\n\nEnsure timely payment of recurring publisher and vendor invoices\n\nMaintain bank and balance sheet reconciliations and support sales tax compliance\n\nSupport the annual audit in partnership with the Pine accounting team\n\nServe as a lead user of Acumatica, helping design workflows and reports alongside internal Acumatica consultants\n\nIdentify and implement process improvements as the business scales\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field\n\n5+ years of progressive accounting experience\n\nHas owned a full month-end close, including producing financial statements\n\nHands-on experience with AP, AR, cash management, and bank reconciliations\n\nExperience supporting an external audit\n\nWorking knowledge of GAAP and sales tax\n\nAdvanced Excel skills\n\nComfortable working East Coast hours\n\nDetail-oriented, organized, and proactive about improving processes\n\nNice-to-Have\nExperience in a software reseller, VAR, or professional services environment\n\nAcumatica or other mid-market ERP experience\n\nExperience in a private equity-backed or multi-entity business\n\nCPA or progress toward
