Pine partners with leading B2B ERP and technology services firms for the long term, giving each company the resources of a larger organization while preserving the culture and client relationships that made it successful.\nWho We Need\nSIG is looking for a Controller to lead its accounting function as the business enters a period of real growth. This person will own accounting operations across five entities in the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, and India, and lead a team that spans onsite and remote and offshore members. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting skills, including multi-currency and multi-jurisdiction experience, and enjoys building processes from the ground up. They will be comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership in a private equity-backed environment and managing a distributed team across time zones. Candidates motivated by learning, growth, and making a visible impact are encouraged to apply.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn accounting operations across five entities in the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, and India, including intercompany, FX, and consolidated reporting\nLead the month-end close with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and continuous process improvement\nOversee the annual audit, general ledger, treasury, accounts receivable and billing, and accounts payable\nOwn revenue recognition across time and materials, fixed fee, and recurring managed services engagements\nCoordinate statutory filings, indirect tax (sales tax, VAT, GST), and transfer pricing with external advisors\nLead, develop, and support an accounting team spanning onsite, remote, and offshore members\nDeliver the monthly reporting package, including financial statements, presentation materials, and variance-focused commentary for company leadership and Pine Services Group\nPartner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning\nStrengthen systems (MS Business Central), controls, and reporting as the business scales\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field\nActive or recently active CPA license, or equivalent\n8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including people leadership\nDemonstrated ownership of month-end close and financial reporting\nStrong working knowledge of GAAP, with particular emphasis on ASC 606 revenue and cost recognition standards\nHands-on experience with mid-market ERP systems\nAdvanced Excel skills and the ability to produce clear, executive-ready reporting\nExceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and a commitment to deadlines\nA genuine desire to learn, grow, and take on
