As our North American business continues to grow, this role offers the opportunity to progress into a project-focused position, including customer visits, site surveys and installation management.\nInitially, you will gain experience across logistics, customer service and warehouse operations, before taking on increasing responsibility for coordinating projects both remotely and on-site.\nThe role will also support special projects and installations, warranty repairs, warehouse and administrative operations. The right candidate will be a self-starter who works well in a team and brings a positive, can-do attitude.\nWhat you'll be doing\nOversee and lead special projects, installation jobs, and white glove services both on-site or in person.\nTravel occasionally to perform site surveys of install sites prior to install to ensure site readiness.\nLead and coordinate third party contractors or teams both on-site or remotely to ensure they adhere to Pineapple’s service levels and represent the company properly.\nKeep track and create reports of projects to ensure costs properly remain within set margins and ensure finished projects are documented and signed off.\nTravel to perform special furniture repairs and/or special install requests.\nProvide quotes for installation projects, white glove services, and upholstery work in conjunction with the sales team.\nSupport general warehouse duties, including goods in / out duties, including some heavy lifting when preparing orders.\nAssist with logistics functions within the department and perform basic customer service (order tracking, general inquiries, installation questions). \nPerform data entry for proper record keeping and cost management.\nPerform additional ad hoc tasks and be the go to person within the operations team, always ready to lend a hand.\nRequirements\nWhat we're looking for\nIdeally a background in operations and project administration, ideally within an operational / logistics role. This position is a split between warehouse work, general administration, and project management.\nForklift experience and OSHA knowledge are a big plus but not essential.\nExcellent IT skills with competent use of Microsoft Office (mainly Outlook and Excel).\nPeople focused, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. \nWilling and able to lift and move heavy items in a warehouse environment. \nWilling to travel as necessary across the North American region to oversee or perform work on client sites.\nStrong ability to multi-task and keep track of deadlines and reports.\nConfident, approachable and willing to assist with urgent issues. \nWilling and able work within tight deadlines and fast paced workdays.\nStrong commercial awareness. \nHigh appreciation for accountability, punctuality, & routine.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills. \nOur Values\nAt Pineapple, our values shape everything we do.
