As a pivotal member of our team supporting the US Army Human Resources Command (HRC), you will lead the modernization of complex data pipelines. Your primary focus will be designing and optimizing high-volume data integration solutions that ensure the Army’s HR data is accurate, secure, and actionable for high-level decision-making.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nTypical Responsibilities/Tasks:\nETL Architecture: Assist the end-to-end development, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise-level ETL processes using DataStage to support HRC application structures.\nData Integration & Quality: Design complex data mapping and transformation logic, ensuring data integrity across disparate sources within the Army’s data warehouse environment.\nSystems Maintenance: Provide Cyber and IA database systems maintenance, ensuring all ETL jobs comply with rigid security and Information Assurance protocols.\nTechnical Lifecycle Management: Review and provide sophisticated technical solutions for data projects across all stages of the development lifecycle, from initial ingestion to report generation.\nMonitoring & Automation: Implement and manage advanced job scheduling and monitoring tools to ensure 24/7 reliability of data pipelines.\nDocumentation: Produce high-quality technical documentation, including data flow diagrams (Visio), mapping specifications, and system architecture briefs.\nRequired Qualifications\nDataStage Mastery: hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage and a comprehensive understanding of ETL best practices and patterns.\nDatabase Knowledge: Working knowledge of SQL database environments, including SQL tuning and schema Management.\nSecurity Certification: Must be professionally certified as Technical Level III (IAT Level III) as defined by DoDI 8570.01-M.\nExperience: Proven track record in data warehousing, XML/HTML, and open-source development environments.\nCommunication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data transformations to non-technical stakeholders.\nMust be a US citizen.\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience with PostgreSQL\nAbout Pingwind\nPingWind is focused on delivering outstanding services to the federal government.
