Preferred 3-5 years’ experience.\nPosition Description\nPingWind is seeking a Front-End Developer to build and deliver the user experience layer of a highly strategic, federally aligned supply chain resilience initiative. Reporting to engineering leadership, this individual will own dashboards, user experience, and visualization delivery within a live control-tower environment.\nThe ideal candidate is a self-starter who can drive their work from conception to deployment with minimal supervision. This role requires a developer who is not only proficient in React but also passionate about writing clean, maintainable code and delivering exceptional user experiences, particularly when working with large data sets.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nTypical Responsibilities/Tasks:\nDevelop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using React.\nCollaborate with product managers and UX designers to implement innovative solutions.\nWork closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.\nOptimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.\nConduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality code, including writing unit tests.\nParticipate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.\nStay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in front-end development.\nContribute to continuous improvement of development processes and workflows.\nDrive projects from initial concept through deployment, ensuring milestones are met on time.\nRequired Qualifications\n3-5 years of experience in frontend development, full-stack development, data application development, or related roles.\nStrong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).\nHands-on experience with React.\nExperience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.\nSolid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.\nFamiliarity with modern front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Nx, Babel, NPM).\nExperience with Git and version control.\nFamiliarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and asynchronous request handling.\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nDesired Skills\nStrong understanding of UX/UI principles and the ability to translate complex data into intuitive interfaces.\nKnowledge of front-end performance optimization techniques.\nExperience with AI tools and agentic development.\nExperience with TypeScript and SCSS.\nFamiliarity with Docker, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and CI/CD pipelines.\nExperience with modern testing frameworks.\nAbout Pingwind\nPingWind is focused on delivering outstanding services to the federal government.
