The Senior Specialist develops test strategies, manages evaluation processes, mentors junior testers, and collaborates with development, DevOps, and quality assurance teams to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions.\nResponsibilities:\nTypical Responsibilities/Tasks:\nDevelop and manage comprehensive test plans, test cases, and evaluation strategies for software systems.\nDefine testing objectives, success criteria, and evaluation methodologies.\nEnsure alignment of testing activities with program requirements and industry standards.\nLead the execution of functional, performance, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.\nPerform automated and manual testing as appropriate.\nDocument, analyze, and report test results, identifying defects, risks, and areas for improvement.\nEnsure adherence to software quality assurance standards, best practices, and compliance frameworks.\nValidate that security, interoperability, and performance requirements are met.\nSupport continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines by embedding automated testing.\nExpertise with testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, Postman).\nStrong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.\nFamiliarity with defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla).\nExperience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).\nKnowledge of cybersecurity testing, secure coding standards, and vulnerability assessment.\nUnderstanding of system integration testing, interoperability, and requirements validation.\nRequired Qualifications\nDoD 8140 Certification\nDesired Qualifications\n(Master’s preferred).\nProven track record of leading test and evaluation activities for enterprise or mission-critical systems\n.About PingWind\nPingWind is focused on delivering outstanding services to the federal government.
