The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for leading advanced data analysis, statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and business intelligence activities supporting supply chain and logistics operations.\nThis position oversees the development of descriptive and predictive analytical products, transforms complex operational data into actionable insights, and provides analytical recommendations to support Government decision-making, operational efficiency, and continuous process improvement. The Senior Data Analyst also provides technical leadership, quality oversight, and mentoring to junior data analysts.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nTypical Responsibilities/Tasks:\nServe as the technical lead for data analytics, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling activities.\nLead the development and delivery of descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytical products.\nAnalyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, relationships, anomalies, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement.\nPerform data mining and exploratory data analysis to identify meaningful information from structured and unstructured data sources.\nDevelop and apply statistical models, predictive models, and machine learning techniques to support forecasting and operational decision-making.\nAnalyze supply chain and logistics data to evaluate performance, identify inefficiencies, and recommend data-driven improvements.\nDevelop analytical models supporting areas such as inventory management, demand forecasting, transportation, supply chain performance, resource planning, and operational optimization.\nDesign, develop, and maintain dashboards, visualizations, scorecards, and performance reports using Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI.\nEstablish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, trends, and performance thresholds.\nTranslate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for Government stakeholders and senior leadership\nRequired Qualifications\nAdvanced knowledge of data analytics and statistical analysis methodologies.\nStrong knowledge of data mining and pattern identification techniques.\nExperience developing and validating statistical and predictive models.\nKnowledge and practical application of machine learning methods and techniques.\nDesired Qualifications\nMaster’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.\nMilitary Experience preferred\nAbout PingWind\nPingWind is focused on delivering outstanding services to the federal government.
