The Senior Logistics Analyst provides advanced analytical and technical support for Army logistics and supply chain operations, with responsibility for evaluating logistics performance, identifying process improvements, and developing recommendations that improve operational efficiency, inventory accountability, transportation effectiveness, and mission readiness.\nThe position provides technical leadership to junior analysts and requires extensive Army logistics experience, including hands-on experience with the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP).\nPrimary Responsibilities\nTypical Responsibilities/Tasks:\nServe as the senior technical lead for logistics analysis and process optimization activities.\nAnalyze Army logistics and supply chain operations to identify trends, inefficiencies, risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.\nEvaluate supply chain performance using operational data, performance metrics, reports, and logistics information systems.\nDevelop recommendations to improve logistics processes, inventory management, material flow, transportation, and overall supply chain performance.\nConduct detailed analysis of inventory levels, demand, stockage, material availability, transportation activities, and supply support requirements.\nUtilize LMP to research, analyze, track, and report logistics and supply chain information.\nApply hands-on LMP experience to support inventory, supply, maintenance, material management, and related Army logistics requirements.\nAnalyze inventory performance and recommend actions to improve inventory accuracy, availability, accountability, and efficiency.\nEvaluate transportation processes, routes, schedules, and requirements to identify opportunities for improved cost, efficiency, and delivery performance.\nApply applicable Army supply regulations, policies, procedures, and business rules when conducting logistics analysis and developing recommendations\nRequired Qualifications\nExtensive knowledge of Army logistics and supply chain operations.\nStrong hands-on knowledge and practical experience using LMP.\nKnowledge of inventory management, accountability, demand planning, stockage, and material management principles.\nDesired Qualifications\nMaster’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.\nMilitary Experience preferred\nAbout PingWind\nPingWind is focused on delivering outstanding services to the federal government.
