Bonded together, we share a commitment to integrity, vigilance, and excellence.\nPinkerton is an inclusive employer who seeks candidates with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to join our team of industry subject matter experts.\nThe Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible to Gather, analyze, and interpret business data to generate actionable insights.\nResponsibilities\nRepresent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.\nGather, analyze, and interpret business data to generate actionable insights.\nDesign, develop, and maintain BI dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical requirements.\nBuild and optimize data models, ensuring data accuracy, quality, and consistency across sources.\nDevelop DAX/SQL queries for complex calculations, automation, and performance optimization.\nIdentify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support strategic and operational decision- making.\nEnsure BI solutions follow governance, security (including RLS), and documentation standards.\nSupport stakeholders through ad-hoc analysis, storytelling with data, and continuous improvement of BI solutions. Recommend opportunities for reuse of data models in new environments.\nResponsible for creating complex stored procedures, views, data aggregation through table joins/queries. \nAnalyzing and translating business needs into visualizations solution.\nProvide technical documentations for knowledge transform, technical training, coaching for project stakeholders.\nAll other duties, as assigned.\nQualifications\nAt least 4-5 years of hands-on experience in data modelling, visualization, and managing databases.
