Join Pinterest as a Data Scientist in the Infrastructure Data Science team. In this role, you will partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to improve the measurement, understanding, and optimization of Pinterest's infrastructure. Your work will involve defining and measuring the health and efficiency of infrastructure systems, building metrics and dashboards, and analyzing the impact of infrastructure changes on user experience and business outcomes. Missions

- Curiosity and a builder mindset, with excitement for improving messy systems and creating more scalable, trustworthy measurement foundations
- Ability to operate independently, prioritize across both longer-term projects and fast-turn inbound requests, and drive work forward in a dynamic environment
- Masters degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Applied Math, Biostatistics, or equivalent experience
- Solid foundation in experimentation and measurement, with the ability to design analyses, interpret results rigorously, and partner effectively with engineers and other cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong SQL and analytical programming skills, with experience working through messy, imperfect data and building reliable metrics and datasets
- Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous problems into clear analytical workstreams and actionable recommendations
