Our infrastructure is defined as code and has a hand in the stability of every codebase at Pipe. This is a small, dedicated team - success here requires problem-solving with a technically diverse mindset.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and implement scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure solutions for business-critical applications and services\nCollaborate with engineering teams to ensure infrastructure meets their requirements and is easy to use\nMaintain a strong security posture through close collaboration with the security team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations\nMonitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues and drive timely resolution\nAutomate infrastructure deployment and management processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work\nParticipate in on-call rotation to support critical infrastructure issues\nTech Stack\nWe are committed to using the right tools for the problems we are trying to solve. We are not dogmatic, but our current stack includes:\nFrontend: Typescript, React, Next.js\nBackend: Go, PostgreSQL, BigQuery\nData: BigQuery, Sqlmesh, Python\nInfrastructure: Kubernetes, Pulumi, Buildkite, Google Cloud Platform\nOur stack reflects the tools we've found most effective for the problems we solve. Strong candidates will have hands-on experience with most of these technologies and the technical range to pick up what's new quickly.\nTechnical Qualifications\nA strong candidate for this role is a skilled programmer who can provision and debug disparate systems regardless of initial familiarity.
