As a strategic partner to Sales and retail customers, this role provides actionable recommendations that drive overall category growth and strengthen the performance of Piping Rock brands.\n\nThe ideal candidate is a strong analytical thinker and communicator who can turn complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for customers.\n\nResponsibilities:\nManage category performance and product lifecycles, from new product development through discontinuation.\nAnalyze assortment, competitors, consumer insights, and sales trends to identify growth opportunities.\nDrive new product launches in partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Creative.\nMaintain accurate product data and category hierarchies.\nManage vendor relationships, pricing, and promotional opportunities.\nPartner with Marketing on email, promotions, SEM, SEO, and on-site search content.\nUse category reviews and broker partnerships to support retail growth.\nForecast performance and present actionable recommendations.\nConduct advanced Excel analysis, including duplication and transferability assessments.\nWork effectively across multiple systems and platforms.\nPerform additional duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field preferred.\n2+ years of category management, merchandising, or retail analytics experience, preferably within CPG, health and wellness, or eCommerce.\nAdvanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, Vlookups, data analysis, and reporting.\nStrong PowerPoint skills with the ability to create clear, executive-ready presentations.\nExtensive experience using syndicated data platforms, such as Circana/IRI or NielsenIQ, to evaluate category trends, consumer behavior, and competitive performance.\nStrong retail and analytical mindset with the ability to turn complex data into actionable business recommendations.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to share insights across teams and with senior leadership. \n\nWe proudly offer: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with Company Match, Pet insurance and more!\nWe reward the hard work of our team members with fun and exciting company events, Summer Picnic, Festive Packages, Holiday Celebrations, and associate referral bonuses!\nFounded in 2011, Piping Rock Health Products has gone on to win Long Island’s Top Workplaces Award 6 years in a row & securing the spot as Top Supplement Manufacturing Company 2024 by Food Business Review!
