Also responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of products produced. \n\nResponsibilities:\nUnderstand the operation, set up, start up, troubleshoot, and repair of solid dose manufacturing equipment, including blenders/mixers, tablet presses and encapsulation machines. \nRead, understand, and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings, and/or work orders \nInspect equipment to maintain functionality and perform preventative maintenance as required, following and executing the preventative maintenance schedule. \nInstall and commission new machinery, as well as modify existing equipment as needed\nMake any necessary mechanical adjustments to machines to optimize production \nRepair of manufacturing equipment. This includes problem identification (including interpreting HMI fault codes), referencing technical documentation, assessment of material requirements, requisition placement, and actual repair. \nResponsible for appropriate documentation and record keeping of interventions, parts used, and maintenance history \nProvide guidance to machine operator staff on proper use of equipment and minor troubleshooting to reduce downtime\nResponsible for the use and replacement of change parts \nProvide clear descriptions of equipment issues to team members in a training manner to eliminate future occurrences. \nComply with company policies, SOP, cGMP and OSHA requirements \nReview and follow safety procedures for all equipment. \nMaintain workplace organization and cleanliness practices.
