In this role, you’ll work closely with the VP of Engineering and plant leadership to ensure operational efficiency and equipment reliability across the facility. This is a hands-on role ideal for an engineering professional with a strong mechanical background, a passion for process improvement, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic production environment.\nResponsibilities:\nMaintain and Monitor all Plant equipment to ensure it is running properly and efficient such as HVAC Systems, boilers, compressors.\nWork directly with Plant Manager and department supervisors to ensure facility is running efficiently\nPartner with Maintenance mechanics and supervisors on setting up procedures and task for all site equipment\nEnsure all PM work orders are complete and up to date\nIdentify and recommend process that can improve current plant processes\nTrain and assist plant Personnel in carrying out safety and QC Procedures and compliance\nReview Project plans to ensure timelines are met and ensure cost estimates are within the budget\nInterpret developments with the project plan by providing guidance for necessary changes\nEnsure and Maintain facility is compliant with all relevant FDA, GMP and SOP regulations\nMake sure Facility meets all EHS requirements\nContinuous improvement on work orders and machine down time and strategize ideas to improve uptime\nVerify machinery and process are safe and up to standards\nDevelop Operational plans for Projects, such as Renovation, Construction, Maintenance or Machine installation\nAll other Duties and projects assigned\n\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with up to 4 years of related experience\nAbility to make AutoCAD Drawings\nStrong quantitative ability\nMaintenance experience in a manufacturing environment\nWorking knowledge of Maintenance Software\nExcellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication and organization skills\nAbility to work autonomously\nMust be able to lift 50 pounds\nWe proudly offer: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with Company Match, Pet insurance and more!We reward the hard work of our team members with fun and exciting company events, Summer Picnic, Festive Packages, Holiday Celebrations, and associate referral bonuses!Founded in 2011, Piping Rock Health Products has gone on to win Long Island’s Top Workplaces Award 7 years in a row & securing the spot as Top Supplement Manufacturing Company 2024 by Food Business Review!
