Because power is nothing without our people!\nWHY JOIN US\nWe are offering a rewarding role with scope for career progression along with:\nInternational, engaging, and supportive working environment.\nGlobal onboarding process.\nCompetitive welfare and benefits package.\nBespoke training and development programs accessible to all.\nDRIVE YOUR FUTURE\nYou will join the Information Security function and will play a key role in strengthening cyber resilience, reducing business risk, and protecting critical business services and information assets.\nMore specifically, you will lead the evolution and daily operation of the Cyber Security Defence Center (CSDC), ensuring the organization's ability to prevent, detect, respond to, and recover from cybersecurity threats.\nYou will drive the continuous improvement of security monitoring and incident response capabilities, including cyber threat intelligence, threat hunting and cyber assurance activities.\nIn addition, you will serve as the organization's CSIRT referent according to NIS2 requirements coordinating internal and external stakeholders during cyber incidents.\nYOUR CORE ACTIVITIES\nDefine and execute the Cyber Security Defence Center (CSDC) strategy, roadmap, and performance objectives.\nLead security monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and cyber defence operations.\nManage cybersecurity incidents end-to-end, ensuring effective containment, recovery, and post-incident improvement actions.\nCoordinate major cyber incidents, crisis response activities, and communications with internal and external stakeholders.\nContinuously enhance detection capabilities through threat intelligence, threat hunting, vulnerability management, automation, and operational improvements.\nAct as the company's CSIRT representative, ensuring compliance with NIS2 requirements and coordinating reporting obligations when required.\nLead and develop internal teams and external service providers, ensuring operational excellence and service quality.\nEstablish KPIs, reporting, and governance frameworks to measure CSDC performance, maturity, risks, and emerging threats.\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\nBachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.\nExtensive experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Detection, or Cyber Defence environments.\nStrong knowledge of SOC operations, SIEM platforms, EDR/XDR technologies, threat intelligence, incident response methodologies, and network security.\nProven experience managing complex cybersecurity incidents and coordinating crisis response activities.\nSolid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and regulations, including NIS2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and MITRE ATT&CK.\nExperience leading cybersecurity teams and managing external security service providers.\nStrong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments.\nFluency in Italian and English, with availability for on-call duty.\nCOMPENSATION PACKAGE\nThe employment contract will be regulated by “Gomma Plastica” National Collective Bargaining Agreement.\nThe gross annual base salary (RAL) offered will be no less than €60.000.\nThe Company is committed to offering a competitive compensation package and, following the selection process, may propose a final gross annual base salary above the stated level, commensurate with the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications.\nThe position’s compensation package also includes a variable component and a competitive welfare and benefits offer.
