The mission is to enable new vehicle functionalities that enhance safety, driving performance, and the overall driving experience.\nThe role combines algorithm development, experimental validation, and hands-on engineering. You will have the opportunity to explore new ideas, develop working prototypes, and validate innovative solutions directly on vehicles, supporting the entire development process from concept generation to real-world implementation.\nYOUR CORE ACTIVITIES\nDevelop and validate innovative estimation and control algorithms for Smart Tyre and vehicle applications.\nDesign, implement, and test prototypes using embedded systems and rapid prototyping platforms.\nPerform experimental activities, including vehicle testing, data acquisition, and track validation.\nAnalyze vehicle data and simulation results to improve algorithm performance and robustness.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to bring new functionalities from concept to real-world implementation.\nExplore innovative technologies and approaches to continuously enhance Smart Tyre solutions.\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\nMaster’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Physics, or equivalent disciplines.\n2-3 years of experience in Vehicle Dynamics, Vehicle Control Systems, State Estimation, ADAS, or related automotive fields.\nStrong knowledge of vehicle dynamics and experience in estimation and control-oriented algorithm development.\nGood programming skills in MATLAB, Simulink, Python, C/C++, or similar environments.\nExperience in experimental data analysis, algorithm validation, vehicle testing, and simulation environments.\nGood proficiency in English.\nWHAT PUTS YOU IN POLE POSITION\nExperience with embedded systems, rapid prototyping platforms, and hands-on engineering projects.\nFamiliarity with machine learning techniques, cloud-based data analysis environments, or tyre-related applications.\nStrong creativity, engineering curiosity, and passion for experimentation.\nPragmatic problem-solving attitude with the ability to transform ideas into validated solutions.\nStrong ownership and ability to effectively collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.\nCOMPENSATION PACKAGE\nThe employment contract will be regulated by “Gomma Plastica” National Collective Bargaining Agreement.\nThe gross annual base salary (RAL) offered will be no less than €32.000.\nThe Company is committed to offering a competitive compensation package and, following the selection process, may propose a final gross annual base salary above the stated level, commensurate with the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications.\nThe position’s compensation package also includes a variable component and a competitive welfare and benefits offer.
