You'll learn how GPS wearable technology works, help onboard and support customers, manage the delivery of hardware and take responsibility for making sure every detail of the customer experience is right.\nThis isn't a narrow graduate role.\nYou'll gain hands-on experience across sports technology, GPS wearables, customer success, logistics, product support, billing and account management - giving you an excellent foundation for a career in the sports technology industry.\nThe role\nAs a Junior Account Manager, you'll help look after PitcheroGPS customers from the moment they become a customer.\nYou'll work closely with our Account Management, Sales, Marketing and senior management teams to make sure every customer receives a first-class experience.\nYou'll become an expert in the PitcheroGPS product and take responsibility for several important parts of the customer journey.\nCustomer onboarding\nYou'll help new teams get up and running with PitcheroGPS.\nThat includes:\nSetting up new customer accounts accurately.\nPreparing teams to start using PitcheroGPS.\nHelping coaches and performance staff understand the product.\nMaking sure customers have everything they need before their first session.\nFollowing the onboarding process from initial order through to successful use of the system.\nCustomer support\nYou'll provide second-line product support to PitcheroGPS customers around the world.\nYou'll investigate questions and problems, understand what has happened and work with colleagues to find the right solution.\nYou'll need to communicate clearly and professionally with coaches, analysts and sports professionals while developing an excellent technical understanding of GPS wearable technology.\nProduct testing & quality control\nEvery PitcheroGPS kit should arrive with the customer in perfect condition and ready to use.\nYou'll help:\nTest GPS hardware before dispatch.\nCheck every order carefully.\nConfigure equipment where required.\nInspect products for faults or damage.\nPack orders to a high standard.\nMake sure every component of an order is present and correct.\nAttention to detail is critical. We want every customer opening a PitcheroGPS delivery to feel they've received a premium sports technology product.\nGlobal dispatch & logistics\nPitcheroGPS works with sports teams around the world.\nYou'll help manage the process of getting our technology from our Leeds office into the hands of customers.\nThis includes:\nPreparing and dispatching customer orders.\nWorking with couriers and logistics partners.\nProducing accurate shipping documentation.\nTracking deliveries.\nHelping resolve delayed or failed deliveries.\nManaging international shipping requirements and customs documentation.\nHelping ensure products move efficiently across international borders.\nAccounts, billing & renewals\nYou'll also help make sure the commercial details behind every account are correct.\nYou'll check customer records, billing information, subscriptions and renewals to ensure customers are charged correctly and at the right time.\nAccuracy matters. You'll be expected to spot discrepancies, investigate them and make sure they're resolved.\nRequirements\nWho we're looking for\nWe're particularly interested in graduates who want to build a career in sports technology, sports performance or wearable technology.\nA degree in Sports Science, Sports Performance, Strength & Conditioning or a closely related subject would be particularly relevant.\nMore important than the exact degree, however, is the person.\nWe're looking for someone who is:\nAcademically strong - with an excellent academic record and strong exam results.\nHighly intelligent and quick to learn - able to understand new technology and processes quickly.\nExceptionally detail-focused - someone who notices small errors that other people miss.\nHighly organised - comfortable managing multiple customers, orders and tasks without losing track of the detail.\nFocused and methodical - able to follow processes accurately and consistently.\nNaturally curious - someone who wants to understand how and why things work.\nComfortable with technology and data.\nA strong communicator - confident dealing professionally with customers around the world.\nA problem solver - able to investigate an issue rather than simply pass it to somebody else.\nPassionate about sport and excited by the opportunity to work in sports technology.\nExperience using GPS technology, sports performance software or wearable technology would be useful, but isn't essential.
