Report any defective findings to the Transportation Supervisor to be fixed immediately.\nMaintains a daily driver’s log or route sheet for mileage, stops and cargo, or utilization of Samsara system.\nResponsible for picking up and delivering mail from our customers.\nMaintain documentation for customer pickups such as collecting signatures.\nKnows and understands safety and security precautions and follows company policies and keeps vehicle clean.\nEnsure the mail is reviewed for proper dates, presort slugs and a pickup slip are attached with each order prior to loading on the truck.\nReturns client damaged or undeliverable mail, following internal handling procedures for damaged secured mail.\nUses all required cell phone applications.\nPerforming warehouse duties include wrapping pallets, stacking trays, and loading trucks.\nKeeps work area clean by ensuring mail bins are under machines or in APC’s, plastic straps are off floor to prevent possible tripping hazards, sweeping the floors between assigned pickups or deliveries, and all other duties as assigned.\nAlways maintain a professional appearance when collecting mail from customers.\nAs a Non CDL (Straight/Box) Truck Driver, you have:\nMust be minimum 21 years in age.\nAbility to drive a Box and/or Straight Truck up to 26,000 GVWR.\n Must have a minimum of 6 months verifiable driving experience in similar sized vehicles (i.e., Box and/or Straight Truck) within the last 3 years with a safe driving record.\n Can read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.\nValid state motor vehicle operator’s license (State in which driver resides)\nAbility to read a map and understand directions.\nAbility to lift at least 50 lbs., walk, stand, stoop, and bend with or without accommodation.\nGood attendance is mandatory.\nMust have the ability to work mandatory overtime that may include weekends, holidays and or a different shift with little or no advance notice.\nOur Team: Pitney Bowes Presort Services performs mail sorting; performing some of the work that would typically be performed by the USPS®. For completing this work, Presort Services receives discounted postage rates. By performing this sorting work on behalf of our clients, we are able to share a portion of that discount with them.
