It includes a 12-week paid training program. \nResponsibilities\nProvide general LTL and volume quoting\nCoordinate and quote Fast Track / Time Definite shipments\nSchedule pick-ups\nTrace shipments and provide freight charges\nProcess re-billings from sales reps, 3rd parties and customers\nProcess fax and Internet requests\nHandle Managed Accounts and special requests from customers and sales reps.\nEffective and efficiently resolve customer issues and respond to customer questions regarding shipments; develop and maintain positive relationships with customers\nMeet monthly department telephone and email goals\nReceive and accurately direct incoming telephone calls for PITT OHIO and associated companies\nRepresent the PITT OHIO brand in a friendly, welcoming, and warm manner with all callers and visitors\nGreet clients and visitors and notify staff of visitor’s arrival\nProvide information and assistance to clients and customers\nMaintain welcoming environment\nAble to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned\nQualifications\nCommand of English language to communicate effectively with internal and external customers\nHigh School Graduate or GED\nProficient in general math\nMust be able to multi-task\nMust be able to type a minimum of 40 wpm\nPrevious experience in telephone customer service/call center environment helpful\nTransportation experience preferred\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office Environment, particularly Excel, Word and Email\nAn excellent phone voice and a colorful / dynamic personality is essential\nComfortable with existing and constant changes in technology\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nFlexibility with changing job duties\nPITT OHIO is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
